Thanks FlyLady!

As a subscriber to FlyLady's wisdom, I am learning the importance of spending 15 minutes decluttering. Well, that's how long it just took me to delete all her annoying messages in my Yahoo inbox! I would unsubscribe, but I'm afraid I will completely fall off the wagon if I do.

Honestly, I have learned a lot from her and I appreciate her ministry and encouragement. But I have to admit that some of that stuff creeps me out a little. If you come over to my house, you won't find her looking up at you from my kitchen sink. Her image won't be on my refrigerator or car or anything else. I don't have a control journal, but I don't mind calling it my "I-can't-run-this-house-without-it" binder. I get uneasy when she talks about God breezes and purple puddles. And, in a house full of males, "fling boogies" has a totally different meaning!

Surely I'm not the only one who feels like saying, "FlyLady, thanks for the help, but now you need to get out of my personal space!!!" :-)

Yup, Flylady and I have a love/hate relationship. And what's up with the God Breezes and Purple Puddles? It's a bit cheesey.

Can't handle the emails either--but I like the morning and evening routine bit. Take the good--weed out the bad...

I was once on her list, but somehow I got "lost" (e-mail change?). I do remember it being too much to keep up with reading-wise. Never got back on the list, so I guess I'm not missing anything! :-)

Maybe there's not as much to the "generation gap" as I've been led to believe! I thought it was my age that made me 'tired' after a couple of weeks of deleting e-mails! It didn't take me long to unsubscribe! But, I do have to give FlyLady credit. She has great advice and I still go to bed at night with a shiny sink!

Amen. Flylady and I are on again, off again. Right now I'm off.

Okay, I don't know anything about FlyLady - I am just trying to sort through all the boxes at this point. I will have to check out the God Breezes and Purple Puddles though - I'm intrigued. But I did join your little Blog world!

Hey Mrs C!!! I didn't know who it was until I took a good look at the picture!! I know that dog with the attitude!

Don't get involved with FlyLady, she will only drive you nuts! Her emails alone will drive you bonkers! Besides, you don't need her, you've got it all under control by yourself! But her advice to you right now would be to unpack for 15 minutes then do something fun like blogging! Only take on 15 minutes at a time.

Here's my question - did you set this blog up at work? :-)

Gotta go. Your nephew is asking for "bopple juice"!

lvwrlUmmmmm....I may or may not have done this at work. Depends on who is asking. But keep in mind that my "boss" is out for 2 weeks...so by 4 in the afternoon I start to get a little bored! Work is completed very quickly without his constant interruptions!

As far as unpacking...I will be glad to tackle that full force once our house guest leaves (which will be this weekend YIPEEE!!!)
